Mhs Johnnie Brunson -Talley

Johnnie Brunson-Talley, MHS has extensive experience in training and development. Johnnie started their career in 2001 as a Division Manager/Coordinator at the Sumter County Disabilities Special Needs Board, where they coordinated the daily operations of five divisions and ensured quality assurance for individuals with intellectual disabilities and their staff. In 2004, Johnnie became a Training and Development Coordinator at the same organization, where they were responsible for orientation, annual and refresher training, needs assessments, and curriculum development.

In 2009, Johnnie took on various roles in different organizations. Johnnie became the Principal CEO at Talley Training, Director of Training at Talley For Training, and a Training Specialist/Coordinator at TFT - Talley For Training. Johnnie also worked as a Staff Development Coordinator at the Sumter County Disabilities & Special Needs organization and a Counselor for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing at SC Vocational Rehabilitation. In these roles, they provided counseling, guidance, and job training to individuals with disabilities, and developed rehabilitation plans.

From 2011 to 2012, Johnnie served as a Campus Director at Boys & Girls Clubs of the Midlands, where they oversaw program implementation, managed staff, and performed administrative duties. Johnnie then moved on to become the Director at the Boys and Girls Clubs of America, where they were responsible for the delivery of all program areas within the club and supervised program staff.

In 2004, Johnnie founded Talley Resources for Training, where they held the position of Director of Training and Development. Johnnie'steam traveled to various locations to provide customized training in Basic Life Support, CPR, First Aid, and AED to agencies, companies, and specialized groups. Participants received certification or recertification upon completion of the training.
