Rodolfo De Jesus has a diverse work experience spanning various organizations and roles. Rodolfo recently joined Boys & Girls Clubs of Chicago as the Associate Director of Community Engagement and Communications. Prior to this, they were a Fellow at the Civic Leadership Academy at the University of Chicago, where they developed skills in government and nonprofit leadership.
Rodolfo also worked as a Community Engagement Manager at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago and as a Community Outreach Specialist at Lurie Children's Healthy Communities. In these roles, they organized programs and departments, managed initiatives, and collaborated with community members.
Additionally, Rodolfo was a Multicultural Leadership Academy Member at the Latino Policy Forum, where they promoted intercultural collaboration and social action. Rodolfo also served as an Operations Specialist at McMaster-Carr, providing customer service and sales solutions.
Earlier in their career, Rodolfo worked as a Policy & Communications Director for a city alderman in Chicago and as a Director of Constituent Services for another alderman. Rodolfo also gained teaching experience as an English Language Teacher at various language schools.
Rodolfo's skills and experiences have allowed him to develop expertise in community engagement, communications, leadership, and customer service.
Rodolfo De Jesus obtained a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Augustana College, where they attended from 2005 to 2009. Rodolfo later pursued further education at Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management, completing the Fundraising Capacity Building Initiative (FCBI) program in Nonprofit Management from 2017 to 2018. Prior to their college experience, they earned a High School Diploma from Payton College Preparatory High School between 2001 and 2005, focusing on General Studies.
