Angela Aubuchon

Director, Working Memory And Language Laboratory at Boys Town National Research Hospital

Angela AuBuchon has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Angela is currently the Director of the Working Memory and Language Laboratory at Boys Town National Research Hospital since August 2017. Prior to this role, Angela worked at Indiana University Bloomington from September 2012 to May 2017. During their time there, they served as a Visiting Assistant Professor and a Postdoctoral Research Fellow, focusing on learning and memory in children with cochlear implants. Angela also worked as a Faculty Member at Missouri Scholars Academy from June 2009 to June 2012, where they taught intensive courses on psychology and cognitive neuroscience to gifted high school students. Additionally, they held positions at TouchPoint Autism Services from May 2004 to August 2005, where they served as a Team Leader for Community Integration Services and a Program Manager overseeing intervention programs and supporting adults with autism.

Angela AuBuchon earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Psychology and Sociology from Saint Louis University in the years 2000 to 2004. In 2002, they also pursued a Study Abroad program in Industrial and Organizational Psychology at Vesalius College. Later, they obtained a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Psychology - Cognition and Neuroscience from the University of Missouri-Columbia from 2006 to 2009. Lastly, between 2009 and 2012, Angela completed their education by earning a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Psychology - Cognition and Neuroscience from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
