Shayla Roof

Shayla Roof has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade.

Shayla started their career as a Children and Family Services Case Manager at the State of Nebraska in 2008, where they worked until 2011.

Following that, Shayla worked as a Short Term Disability Specialist at Lincoln Financial Group for a few months in 2011.

Shayla then joined Nebraska Families Collaborative as an Aftercare Case Manager, where they worked until the end of 2012.

In 2013, Shayla worked in Case Management at Medical & Administrative Solutions for Hospitals (M.A.S.H.) for several months.

In 2014, they served as a Legal Assistant, Paralegal, and Office Manager at Johnson, Pekny, & Chapman, LLC for a brief period. During the same year, they also worked as a Developmental Disabilities Service Coordinator at the State of Nebraska.

From 2019 to 2021, Shayla worked at Anthem, Inc. as an LTSS Service Coordinator/Assessor.

Currently, they hold the position of Project/Trafficking Manager at Bozell, starting in 2022.

Shayla Roof's education history includes a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, which they obtained between the years 2003 and 2006. Shayla also pursued further education at the University of Nebraska at Omaha, where they earned another Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Criminal Justice, completing it in 2007. In addition to their academic achievements, Shayla obtained a certification as a Certified Assessor-Child SIS Assessment from the AAIDD in May 2019.
