Franziska Bell

Franziska Bell, PhD, serves as the Chief Technology Officer and Senior Vice President of Digital Technology at bp, alongside a role as a Digital Advisory Council Member. Previous positions include Vice President of Software and Platform Engineering at UserTesting and Senior Director at the Toyota Research Institute. Franziska has also held multiple roles at Uber, advancing from Data Science Manager II to Director of Data Science for Data Science Platforms. As an advisor, Franziska contributes to Curio and UserTesting. Educational credentials include a PhD in Theoretical Chemistry with a focus on High-Performance Computing and Applied Mathematics from the University of California, Berkeley, and an MChem in Chemistry (Honours) in Theoretical Chemistry from the University of York.
