Hua Shi

Hua Shi is a seasoned Flow Assurance Engineer with extensive experience in deepwater engineering and flow assurance issues. From October 2005 to January 2016, Hua Shi worked at BP, contributing to the Platina project in Angola Block 18 and Trinidad Angelin, and later driving the evaluation of flow assurance challenges across multiple projects in the early stages of field development. As a Subsea Flow Assurance Engineer, Hua Shi focused on Skarv Subsea operations and integrated flow assurance with corrosion and erosion control management. Prior to BP, Hua Shi served as a Research Associate at Stanford University, developing wellbore flow models, and earned a PhD in Chemical Engineering from Ohio University. Education includes a postdoctoral position in Petroleum Engineering at Stanford University.
