Trey Tomlin

Trey Tomlin is an accomplished Operations/Production Engineer with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, currently working at California Resources Corporation since July 2021. Prior roles include Production Engineer positions at Forty Acres Energy and Maverick Natural Resources, LLC, where expertise in managing capital and expense budgets resulted in significant improvements in production and cash flow. Notable accomplishments include redesigning methods that increased Area BOED by 100% and managing a large CO2/water flooding field with over 400 wells. Trey also gained valuable experience as a Drilling/Completions Engineer Intern at Chevron and a Production Engineer Intern at Energy XXI. A Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering was earned at Texas A&M University from 2013 to 2016, supplemented by early career experience as a Production Chemist and a Squad Leader/Sniper in the US Army.
