Matin Abdullah

Matin Abdullah is an accomplished academic and ICT consultant with extensive experience in computer science and software development. Currently serving as a Professor at BRAC University since 2004, Matin has held various academic positions, including Associate Professor, Assistant Professor, and Senior Lecturer. In addition to academic roles, Matin is the Technical Lead at Mapped in Bangladesh (MiB) and has consulted for Development Design Consultants Ltd. on significant projects involving database management systems for the Bangladesh government. Matin's expertise further extends to project leadership in climate change initiatives and research on Bangla language processing. Educational credentials include a PhD in Computer Science from International Islamic University Malaysia and a Master's, along with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering, respectively, from the University of Houston.
