Nicola Jacklin

Nicola Jacklin currently serves as a Commissioner at Bracknell Forest Council, beginning in March 2024, where responsibilities include leading strategic planning, commissioning, and procurement of local services while overseeing contract management and performance monitoring. Prior experiences include roles such as Project Officer, Specialist Advisory Teacher at Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead, and SENCO at King's Academy, showcasing a strong background in special education and support for students with specific learning difficulties (SpLD). Nicola’s teaching experience spans various educational institutions, including Holme Grange School and Reddam House Berkshire, where skills in implementing educational strategies for diverse learning needs were developed. Educational qualifications include a Level 7 diploma in teaching and assessing students with SpLD and a Post Graduate Certificate of Education in Secondary Drama from The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama.
