Kaitlyn McInerney

Kaitlyn Barbagelata is a dedicated outreach and advocacy professional with extensive experience in health and education support services. Currently serving as an Outreach Specialist at the New York State Higher Education Services Corporation, Kaitlyn focuses on assisting individuals in securing financial aid for college. As the Northeastern District Representative for the Brain Injury Association of New York State, responsibilities include advocating for and supporting those affected by brain injuries. Previous roles include Community Outreach Specialist at the New York Association on Independent Living and Director of Advocacy at Fight Like A Warrior, where efforts were concentrated on enhancing awareness and policy advocacy. Kaitlyn's background also includes hands-on experience as a Therapy Aide at Sunnyview Rehabilitation Hospital, providing care to patients with various rehabilitation needs. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Capella University and an Associate's degree in Health Services from Hudson Valley Community College.
