Diego A. Pizzagalli is a distinguished Professor of Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School, where responsibilities include serving as Director of the McLean Imaging Center and the Center for Depression, Anxiety and Stress Research since July 2010. Prior to this role, Diego A. Pizzagalli held the position of John and Ruth Hazel Associate Professor of the Social Sciences at Harvard University from July 2002 to June 2010, and served as a Post-doctoral Fellow/Research Associate at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from January 1999 to May 2002. Diego A. Pizzagalli earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Psychology and Neuroscience from the University of Zurich, Switzerland, between 1995 and 1998, following the attainment of a Master's degree in Psychology from the same institution from 1989 to 1995.
