Maurizio Fava

Maurizio Fava is a distinguished psychiatrist with extensive experience at Massachusetts General Hospital, where tenure began in 1990. Currently, Fava serves as Vice Chair of the MGH Executive Committee of Research, Psychiatrist-in-Chief, and Executive Director of the MGH Clinical Trials Network and Institute. Additional roles include Director of the Division of Clinical Research and Director of the Depression Clinical and Research Program. Fava’s earlier experience includes completing a Psychiatry Residency at Massachusetts General Hospital from 1985 to 1988. Fava holds a Medical Degree from Università degli Studi di Padova, obtained between 1975 and 1982, with additional studies at the University of Lille 1 Sciences and Technology in 1976.
