Prof. Dr. med. Iris Grunwald

Prof. Dr. med. Iris Grunwald is a distinguished expert in neuroradiology, currently serving as Chair of Neuroradiology at the University of Dundee since July 2020. As the Co-Founder and CEO of Nvention Ltd. and Co-Director of the Mobile Stroke Unit Charity, Iris Grunwald actively contributes to advancing medical innovation and stroke treatment initiatives. A significant figure in the field, Iris Grunwald co-founded BRAINOMIX in 2012 and holds the position of Vice President at the World Federation for Interventional Stroke Treatment since 2010. In academia, Iris Grunwald has been a Professor at Universität des Saarlandes since 2010 and previously directed Neuroscience at Anglia Ruskin University from 2013 to 2020. Iris Grunwald has extensive clinical experience as a Diagnostic and Interventional Neuroradiologist with NHS since 2009, including a recent role as Associate Medical Director at Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust. Additionally, Iris Grunwald led the Translational Stroke Service at the University of Oxford from 2009 to 2013.
