Josh Patterson is the current Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at Voltron Data. Prior to their current position, Patterson served as the Senior Director RAPIDS, AI Infrastructure at NVIDIA from November 2016 to February 2021. In this role, they originated and led engineering for Rapids.ai, an end to end platform for accelerating data science on NVIDIA GPU.

From October 2016 to March 2019, Patterson was a Census Scientific Advisory Committee Member at the U.S. Census Bureau where they advised the Director on the full range of Census Bureau programs and activities.

Prior to their work at the U.S. Census Bureau, Patterson served as a Presidential Innovation Fellow at the White House from August 2015 to June 2016. As a Fellow, they collaborated with other technologists and innovators on high-profile initiatives aimed at addressing national priorities by leveraging best practices from the private sector to build a culture of entrepreneurship and innovation within government.

Josh Patterson has a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, a Master's Degree in Economics from the Darla Moore School of Business, and a Certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI) in Project Management Professional (PMP). Josh also has a Certification from SC LLR in SC Licensed Construction Manager and a Certification from SC LLR in SC Licensed Unlimited General Contractor.
