Alexis Smith

Alexis Smith has a diverse range of work experience spanning over 16 years. Alexis started their career as a Regional Resource Manager at Phoenix House in 2003, where they were responsible for managing product donations for over 700 residents. Alexis consistently brought in donations and maintained relationships with donors. In 2005, they worked as an Office Manager in a confidential company, where they handled administrative tasks and worked closely with the Admissions Committee. Alexis also supervised administrative assistants and assisted with financial reports.

From 2006 to 2019, Alexis worked at BCS Staffing, Inc., initially as a Recruiter/Talent Acquisition Manager and later as the Director of Marketing for their subsidiary, Pink Slip Party LA. As a Recruiter/Talent Acquisition Manager, they conducted full-cycle recruitment for mid to large-size corporations, specializing in Accounting, Finance, HR, and Administrative roles. Alexis managed job postings, sourced candidates, conducted interviews, and made candidate recommendations. Additionally, they managed the company's social media accounts, maintained talent pipelines, checked candidate references, and developed marketing and social networking strategies.

In their role as the Director of Marketing for Pink Slip Party LA, Alexis was responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies and social networking strategies to promote the firm and open positions.

Most recently, Alexis worked as a Strategic Recruiter at Brandes Associates, Inc. since 2019. In this role, they have been supporting their defense-related projects, including mission planning, cyber defense, and command, control, communications & intelligence systems.

Throughout their career, Alexis has demonstrated strong recruitment skills, relationship management abilities, and proficiency in marketing and social media management. Alexis has also been involved in various administrative tasks and has experience in managing teams and projects.

Alexis Smith obtained a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree in English from San Diego State University, where they studied from 1998 to 2003. Alexis also acquired two additional certifications, "Make the Move from Individual Contributor to Manager" and "New Manager Foundations," from LinkedIn in March 2023.
