John McClain, CFA, is a seasoned investment professional with extensive experience in portfolio management and credit analysis. Currently serving as a Co-Portfolio Manager at Brandywine Global Investment Management, John manages significant assets in both corporate credit and high-yield strategies. Prior to this role, John held the position of Co-Portfolio Manager at Diamond Hill Capital Management, overseeing corporate credit and high-yield strategies while handling various aspects of portfolio management. John began their career as a Credit Analyst at Standard Life Investments, progressing to Senior Vice President and Vice President, where responsibilities included fundamental research and trading. Additional experience includes an Investment Analyst role at Nationwide Insurance, focusing on distressed debt and portfolio management, as well as a foundational role in portfolio risk management. John holds an MBA in Economics and Finance from Carnegie Mellon University and a BSBE in Finance and Economics from the University of Kentucky.
