Paul Mielczarski has a diverse work experience in the finance industry. Paul currently holds the position of Head of Macro Strategy at Brandywine Global Investment Management, starting in 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan from 2015 to 2022. At Ontario Teachers', they served as a Senior member of the Portfolio Strategy group, focusing on tactical asset allocation and making investment recommendations to the Chief Investment Officer. Paul also held the role of Head of Emerging Markets and Macro, where they managed a portfolio combining global macro views with bottom-up emerging market analysis.

Before joining Ontario Teachers', Paul worked as a Portfolio Manager at Graham Capital Management from 2011 to 2015. Earlier in their career, they served as a Portfolio Manager/Strategist at Medley Capital from 2008 to 2011. Paul started their career at Credit Suisse in 1999, where they held various roles including Proprietary Trader, Vice President of Global Strategy Research, and Junior Economist.

Paul Mielczarski attended Monash University from 1995 to 1998, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Economics with First Class Honors.
