Tyler N Burgess

Tyler N Burgess, Ed.D, currently serves as the Director of Learning & Development at Brasfield & Gorrie, LLC since October 2022. Prior to this role, Tyler held the position of Director of HR, Talent, Learning and Development at Landing from January 2022 to October 2022. Tyler's extensive experience in education includes serving as the Director of K-12 Remote Learning and System Testing Coordinator, as well as Principal at Vestavia Hills High School and Louis Pizitz Middle School within the Vestavia Hills City School District from July 2014 to June 2021. Earlier roles in education include Assistant Principal for Curriculum and Instruction at Homewood Middle School and Assistant Principal at Homewood High School, in addition to serving as a General Science Teacher/Coach. Tyler holds a Doctorate of Education in Instructional Leadership and various degrees from Samford University, including a Specialist and Master's in Educational Leadership. An Advanced Diploma was obtained from Hoover High School in 1997.
