Itana Nishimoto

Itana Nishimoto is a seasoned business development professional with extensive experience in the chemicals and freight trading sectors. Currently serving as Business Development Manager for Chemicals at Braskem America since February 2023, Itana previously held positions at Braskem Netherlands B.V. as Head of Chems - Chartering and as a Chemical freight trader from June 2018 to February 2023. Earlier roles at Braskem included Gas & Chemical freight trader from November 2011 to June 2018, along with a position as a freight trader at Paranapanema from June 2005 to November 2011. Itana holds a Bachelor's degree in Administration and Business from Universidade Federal da Bahia, an MBA from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas, and has completed coursework at HSB Hochschule Bremen.
