Trenae Forman has a diverse work experience in the field of human resources and leadership. Since 2021, they have been serving as the Director of People and Studio Culture at Brass Lion Entertainment. Previously, they founded and managed T. Simone & Associates LLC. Trenae is also a council member at Forbes Human Resources Council, where they contribute their expertise as a senior human resources executive. Trenae is a Kahilla member, actively working towards achieving gender and racial equity in the corporate world. Trenae has also served as a Leadership Coach at GoCoach and as a Chief Member, focusing on empowering women leaders. In the past, Trenae held positions as the Director of Human Resources at Black Girls CODE, Senior Manager of Diversity and Inclusion Programs at Covanta, Senior HR Business Partner at Henkel, and HR Manager at BASF.
Trenae Forman has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Management, which they obtained from Morgan State University between 1994 and 1998. Trenae went on to earn an MBA in Business Management from Fairleigh Dickinson University from 2001 to 2003. Trenae also has participated in executive education programs, including Negotiation Mastery at Harvard Business School Executive Education in 2019, and Fostering Agile Leadership in the New Digital Age at IESE Business School in the same year. Additionally, they hold several certifications, such as the SHRM-Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) and the Senior Professional in Human Resources® (SPHR®) Certification. Trenae has completed various courses and programs on topics like executive coaching, diversity and inclusion, design thinking, strategic human resources, and project management. Trenae also possesses a Leadership Architect® Certification from Korn Ferry, obtained in 2012.

Brass Lion Entertainment is an entertainment studio focused on creating original fictional universes that center on Black, Brown, and other traditionally marginalized characters, cultures, and stories. A POC-majority studio, Brass Lion is propelled by an inclusive culture and a diverse workforce that fosters belongingness. We have adapted to a fully remote working structure, with our team members contributing from New York City, Montréal, and fourteen other locations across Canada and the United States. We’ve been hard at work on an unannounced Action-Role Playing Game project for consoles and PC. Corner Wolves – a fictional narrative podcast – is also in development.
