Ronaldo Pereira Jr is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the retail and eyewear industries. Currently serving as an Advisory Board Member at Grupo Ri Happy since July 2020, Ronaldo also holds the position of CEO & President at Ri Happy under the Carlyle Group since September 2023. Previously, Ronaldo was a Board Member at Luxottica from July 2017 to May 2020 and served as CEO of Óticas Carol, overseeing a substantial expansion of stores and revenue between May 2009 and June 2017. As Co-Founder, President, and CEO of GO EYEWEAR from June 2003 to April 2009, and with roles at BIC-Banco Industrial Comercial S/A and Banco Mercantil de São Paulo S.A., Ronaldo has developed a robust career in management and leadership. Educational achievements include an M.B.A. in Strategy and Leadership from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas and studies at renowned institutions such as Stanford University, IMD, and Harvard Business School.
