Chris Nickerson

Chris Nickerson has a diverse work experience in the technology and cybersecurity industry. Chris is currently working at BreachQuest as the Chief Raconteur, where they are involved in revolutionizing and re-imagining incident response through state-of-the-art software development. Before joining BreachQuest, Chris served as the Chief Technology Officer and Chief Security Officer at Damovo, an ICT and Enterprise Networking company. Their responsibilities included exploring business challenges and delivering integrated technology solutions for large enterprises worldwide. Chris also founded LARES Consulting, where they provided active defense, incident response, and purple teaming services to the medical industry. Additionally, they have worked as a Faculty member at IANS and served on the Advisory Board of Living Security. Chris is also a private investor in Rumble, Inc. and Thirstie. Chris has been a Member of the Board of Directors at CREST and has held various positions at Alternative Technology and Sprint, where they focused on security services, compliance management, and information security.

Chris Nickerson completed a Bachelor's degree in Virology from Kansas State University between 1995 and 1998. They also obtained several certifications including IEM from the National Security Agency in January 2008, IAM from the National Security Agency in January 2007, and CISA from ISACA in May 2003. Additionally, Chris Nickerson holds a certification in CISSP from (ISC)², although the month and year of obtaining it are not available.
