Nicholas Freeman began their career in 2014 as a Zip USA Intern at Kiva.org, where they developed an automatic emailer for prospective borrowers using Google Script. In 2015, they became a Service Systems Analyst at Curvature. Nicholas then moved to Procore Technologies in 2016, where they held two roles: Sales Enablement - Technology and Process, and Business Development Representative. In 2017, they founded Nick Freeman Design, where they served as Principal Designer and Full Stack Engineer. In 2018, they became a Software Engineering Fellow at Hack Reactor, and a Software Engineer at Cedrus Digital. In 2020, they joined Galvanize Inc. as Program Lead (Campus Director) and Technical Mentor (SWE Instructor). Nicholas also took on the role of Tech Lead at CariClub. Finally, they joined Breadboard in 2022 as Senior Software Engineer, where they work to automate BOMs, calculate labor estimations, generate instant quotes, process payments, and more.
Nicholas Freeman attended the University of the Pacific from 2007 to 2012, where they earned a degree in International Affairs and Commerce and Russian Area Studies with a focus in International/Global Studies. Nicholas then attended Hack Reactor to study Computer Software Engineering. Nicholas has also obtained certifications from Procore Technologies, Microsoft, and Amazon Web Services (AWS). These certifications include Procore Certified: Associate (obtained in January 2016), Microsoft Certified Azure Developer Associate (obtained in June 2019), and AWS Certified Developer - Associate (obtained in January 2019).
