Forest Dewberry

Forest Dewberry has worked in a variety of positions since 2012. In 2012, they were a Summer Camp Counselor at Camp Mike @ Comer Scout Reservation, where they taught merit badge classes in the ecology lodge including weather, environmental science, and mammal study. In 2013, they were a Lifeguard at Camp Comer Scout Summer Camp. In 2014, they were an Intern at Boeing, where they experienced the Critical Design Review of the new Space Launch System and attended critical meetings on the SLS. In 2015, they were an Electrical and Software Engineering Undergrad Researcher at GPS and Vehicle Dynamics Laboratory. In 2017 and 2018, they were a Manufacturing Engineering Intern at Ascend Performance Materials, where they managed 3+ Design of Experiments (DOEs), staved off $200,000+ losses using analysis of pumping efficiency, created a DOE for new PFE piping capable of reducing main reactor outlet cleanings, created a comprehensive dashboard for specialized products, and assisted 4+ classes teaching safety training on chemicals handling and transport, lock out/tag out, and EPA and ESSH rules. In 2018, they were a Machine Learning Undergrad Researcher at Data-Enabled Process Systems Engineering (DE-PSE) Laboratory. In 2020, they were a Technical Services at Epic. Currently, they are a Solutions Engineer at BreakFree Solutions.

Forest Dewberry has a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Auburn University, which they obtained in 2019. Forest attended Huntsville High School from 2011 to 2015. Forest also has a range of certifications from various institutions, including LinkedIn, Badgr (now part of Instructure), A Cloud Guru, and HashiCorp.
