Donnie Spier has a diverse professional background with experience in finance, operations, technology training, and public transportation assistance. Donnie has served in various financial roles, including CFO and Director of Finance, and has experience with managing financial reports and billing processes. Additionally, Donnie has experience in providing technology and bus training for individuals with disabilities. Donnie also has a background in administrative tasks and holds a BA in History and Geography from The University of Texas at Austin.
Breakthrough Central Texas
In Central Texas, only 8% of middle school students from low-income communities will go on to earn a college degree. To combat this inequity, Breakthrough makes a 12-year commitment to help children become the first in their families to graduate from college. Our program focuses on a combination of extended learning, comprehensive advising, and leadership experiences to help students prepare for, persist through, and ultimately, graduate from college. From middle school to high school to college through college graduation, we are there every step of the way. In 2018, Breakthrough will serve more than 1,650 students in Central Texas.
