Javier Jimenez-Blanco

Javier Jiménez-Blanco is an accomplished finance professional currently serving as an Investment Associate at Breakthrough Energy since April 2023. Previously, Jiménez-Blanco held the role of Investment Banking Analyst at Citi from October 2021 to April 2023, specializing in Loans and Leveraged Finance as well as Consumer and Retail sectors. Prior experience includes an investment banking internship at Citi and a summer financial analyst position at ELAND PRIVATE EQUITY SGECR S.A., focusing on renewable energy projects in Spain. Additional internships at Antler Capital Partners and VECTOR 4 ENERGY LIMITED provided experience in due diligence and solar photovoltaic technology. Jiménez-Blanco holds a Master in Finance from IE Business School and a MEng in Mechanical Engineering with Business Finance from UCL.
