George MacDonald III

George MacDonald III has a diverse work experience. George worked as the VP of Middle Office Operations at Brean Capital, LLC from October 2013 onwards. In 2021, they served as a Finance Committee Member for Youngkin for Governor, Inc. In addition, George also worked as a Fixed Income Operations Consultant at Brean Murray, Carret & Co. in May to August 2012. George gained experience as a Bond Desk Intern at both Gleacher & Company and Gleacher and Company in May to August 2011 and May to August 2010, respectively. In these roles, they collaborated with Operations staff to ensure proper delivery and settlement of bond and treasury trades, managed trade tickets, and updated account information using platforms such as Bloomberg and Pershing NETX360.

George MacDonald III received a Bachelor's Degree in Corporate Finance and Risk Management from the University of South Carolina Darla Moore School of Business from 2008 to 2012. George then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at William & Mary – Raymond A. Mason School of Business from 2017 to 2020. In addition to their formal education, George also obtained certifications in Series 63 and Series 7 from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority in September 2013 and April 2013, respectively.
