Sarah Soltau

Sarah Soltau currently serves as the Assistant Director of Community Recreation at BREC since October 2018, overseeing nine recreation facilities in East Baton Rouge Parish while planning and coordinating community programs and events. Previous roles include Program Manager at the City of Germantown Parks and Recreation, where oversight of a youth activities program was a key responsibility, and Membership Manager for the Girl Scouts Heart of the South, focusing on volunteer recruitment and fundraising. With extensive experience in managing programs and staff across various organizations, including the Historic Columbia Foundation as Director of Programs and ChemStation of South Carolina as Office Manager, Sarah brings a rich background in community engagement and organizational leadership. Educationally, Sarah holds a Bachelor of Science degree in History from Appalachian State University.
