Yifan Wang

Yifan Wang has had a varied and impressive career in the design field. In 2022, they began working as the Associate Director of Product at BRELYON, where they were responsible for establishing and capacitating the product development team, as well as directing designs, strategies, and executions for consumer and enterprise facing products. From 2015 to 2022, they worked at Whirlpool Corporation, where they held various roles including Senior Industrial Designer, Advanced Surface Leader, Senior Industrial Designer for Sensorial and Battery Technology, and Senior Industrial Designer for EMEA Freestanding Range. In 2012, they worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Notre Dame, teaching industrial design courses and instructing model shop classes. Yifan also worked as a Design Engineer at oBravo, Stymax International. Co, Ltd. in 2012, and as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Purdue University in 2011. Finally, they held a Summer Internship at Chery Automobile Co., Ltd. in 2011.

Yifan Wang obtained a Master of Fine Arts (M.F.A.) in Design from the University of Notre Dame between 2012 and 2015. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Industrial Design from Purdue University between 2009 and 2012. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including a Certified SolidWorks Professional (CSWP) from Dassault Systèmes in June 2015, a Creative Color Management Professional from IDEAlliance in June 2014, a Global Intellectual Property Inventor from Hasbro in November 2013, a Certified Heartsaver, CPR AED from the American Heart Association | American Stroke Association in April 2016, and MarketingAnalytics101x: Marketing Analytics: Data Tools and Techniques and DigitalMarketing1.1x: Fundamentals of Digital Marketing, Social Media, and E-Commerce from The Wharton School in December 2019 and October 2019, respectively.
