Laurie E. Zmrzel

Laurie E. Zmrzel is an associate with Bremer Whyte Brown O’Meara in its Reno office. Her focus is on handling insurance defense matters in the greater Sacramento area.

Ms. Zmrzel received her Bachelor of Arts degree from California State University, Sacramento in Social Sciences. She obtained her Juris Doctor degree from McGeorge School of Law, University of the Pacific, in Sacramento, California, in 1987 and was admitted to the California State Bar the same year. Ms. Zmrzel has primarily focused on civil litigation and insurance defense throughout her career, and most recently handled complex medical malpractice cases in the greater Sacramento area.

Ms. Zmrzel is a past member of Women Lawyers of Sacramento. She enjoys involvement in non-profit activities and while in the Office of the Nevada County Counsel she participated in home building for Habitat for Humanity.

In her free time, Ms. Zmrzel enjoys horseback riding, gardening, paddle boarding, hiking, and spending time with her family.
