Alexandra Ringe has extensive experience in media strategy, communications, and editorial roles. Alexandra currently works as the Director of Media and Strategy at the Brennan Center for Justice, where they previously served as a Senior Media Strategist. Prior to that, they worked at the ACLU as a Media Strategist for criminal justice, leading and executing national and regional media campaigns. Before their time at the ACLU, they held various roles at Physicians for Reproductive Choice and Health, including Director of Communications and Assistant Director of Communications. Alexandra also has experience at The College Board as a Web Producer and Editor, overseeing fact-checking and copyediting. Alexandra started their career as a Freelance Writer, publishing in various magazines and websites. Alexandra also held volunteer roles at Stay Free! and worked as an Associate Editor at Youth Communication/New Youth Connections. Additionally, they have worked as a Content Manager at Andante and a Senior Editor at Modern Humorist. Early in their career, they gained project management experience at Facts on File, Inc.

Alexandra Ringe obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Wesleyan University in 1992.
