Lauren Miller is a legal professional with a focus on civil rights and democracy. Currently serving as Counsel in the Democracy Program at the Brennan Center for Justice since 2022, Miller previously worked as an Associate in the Civil Rights Practice at Hughes Socol Piers Resnick & Dym, Ltd., and held the position of Public Rights Project Fellow and Special Assistant State's Attorney at the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office from 2019 to 2021. Earlier judicial experience includes serving as a Judicial Law Clerk at the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. Lauren Miller earned a Juris Doctor from Yale Law School in 2018 and a Bachelor of Arts with Honors and Distinction in History and Political Science from Stanford University in 2015.
