Marina Pino is a seasoned legal professional currently serving as Counsel for Elections and Government at the Brennan Center for Justice since August 2022. Prior to this, Marina held the position of Legal Fellow at the Fair Elections Center and worked as a Judicial Law Clerk at the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan, where responsibilities included researching and drafting bench memoranda and assisting during courtroom proceedings. Marina's earlier legal experience includes internships at the Brennan Center for Justice, ACLU of Oregon, and the Supreme Court of the U.S., as well as a role with the Minority Legal Counsel for the Nassau County Legislature. Marina earned a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Michigan Law School and a Bachelor’s Degree in History and Political Science from Hofstra University.
