Greig Mailer

Greig Mailer has a diverse and extensive work experience in the sports industry. Starting in 2003, they worked as the Marketing & Communications Manager for the Scottish Premier League until 2010. Greig then joined UEFA, where they held various roles such as Marketing Activities Manager and Venue Manager for the UEFA Champions League. In 2013, they became the Owner and Managing Director of Flare Sports International Ltd, offering services to clients such as UEFA Events SA and the Scottish FA. Greig also worked as a Non-Executive Director for Scottish Women's Football and as a Venue Manager for Glasgow 2014 Limited. In 2015, they joined Hibernian Football Club as the Head of Marketing & Commercial Operations. Greig later worked for the Scottish Football Association as the Head of Marketing & Communications and for Manchester United as the Corporate Communications Manager. Currently, they are serving as the Corporate Affairs Director for Brentford Football Club.

Greig Mailer began their education journey in 1997 at the University of Strathclyde, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) degree in Marketing. Greig dedicated four years to this program, completing it in 2001. Subsequently, in 2002, Mailer enrolled at the University of Liverpool to pursue a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on the Football Industries. Greig completed the program in 2003. Fast forward to 2021, Mailer attended VSI Executive Education / Global Institute of Sport for a shorter education experience, where they focused on becoming a CEO of a Sports Organisation.
