Jerry Visco

Jerry Visco has extensive work experience, starting as Training Officer in the United States Army Reserve from 1979 to 1983. Jerry then served as a Captain in the US Army from 1983 to 1987. Following their military service, Jerry worked as an Attorney at Dene and Associates from 1987 to 1989. Jerry then joined Aetna Life & Casualty as a Claim Supervisor/ OE Mgr from 1990 to 1995. Jerry then moved on to Marsh & McLennan, where they worked as an AVP Claims, Claim Consultant from 1995 to 2001. From 2001 to 2015, they held various positions at the Brevard County Board of County Commissioners, starting as Insurance Director and later becoming the Director of the Office of Human Resources. During their role as Insurance Director, Jerry managed the County's insurance programs and supervised risk management and employee benefits staff.

Jerry Visco attended Capital University Law School from 1980 to 1983, where they obtained a JD degree in Law. Prior to that, they attended The Ohio State University from 1975 to 1979, earning a BS degree in Consumer Services. In addition to their formal education, Jerry Visco has obtained a certification in Essentials in Public Sector HR from the International Public Management Association for Human Resources.
