Daniel Rowntree

Daniel Rowntree has a diverse work experience in the drinks industry. Daniel is currently working as a Transformational Coach and Start-Up Consultant, focusing on supporting mission-led people, businesses, and brands in the dry economy and beyond. Prior to this, they co-founded Built Unique Co in 2021 and served as a Co-Founder of BrewLDN from 2019. At BrewLDN, they created and owned category-driving F&B events and media channels, and provided platforms for F&B businesses to showcase their products. Before that, they co-founded BrewBroker in 2017, aiming to connect every part of the global beer industry. Daniel also co-founded Big Hug Brewing Ltd in 2014, a beer brand with a social conscience. Additionally, Daniel was a Founding Partner and Head of Fuel at The Ardent Company, an independent accelerator in the drinks industry, from 2020 to 2023. Daniel has also held roles as a Non-Executive Director at WAA Chosen, a marketing and communications agency, and as a Co-Founder and Director at Elastic, a drinks specialist marketing agency. Daniel co-founded Craft Beer Rising, a beer festival, in 2013, and worked as a Trade Marketing Brand Manager at Bacardi Martini in 2005.

Daniel Rowntree attended the University of Reading from 1999 to 2002, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Management and Business Administration. Prior to that, from 1992 to 1998, they attended Stamford School, although no specific degree or field of study is mentioned. Additionally, in May 2023, Daniel obtained an Accredited Diploma in Transformational Coaching from the Animas Centre for Coaching.
