The Brewster Central School District serves approximately 3,000 students, all of which are housed in one of four different school buildings.  There is one primary school – John F. Kennedy Elementary School, one intermediate school – C.V. Starr Intermediate School, one middle school – Henry H. Wells Middle School, and one high school – Brewster High School.  Brewster has earned a reputation as a nationally recognized, high performing school system with students who consistently perform at or above the levels of districts with similar demographic and economic profiles.

The current leadership team at Brewster Central School District has a wide range of experience in education. The superintendent of schools previously worked as an adjunct professor at Gwynedd Mercy University and as a middle school principal at Howell Township Board of Education. The district's member of the board of trustees previously worked as a superintendent of schools at Paulsboro Public School District. Both leaders have earned degrees in administration from Monmouth University and Seton Hall University, respectively.
