David Zhang

David Zhang is a Partner at TCV since August 2018, specializing in growth stage investments across fintech, application software, and internet/marketplaces, with notable investments in Nubank, Wealthsimple, Brex, Klarna, and Airbnb. Concurrently, David holds investor roles at Brex, Airbnb, and Klarna, while serving on the Board of Directors for Wealthsimple. Prior experience includes being a Board Observer for Nubank and serving as a Tech Equity Long/Short investor at Dorsal Capital Management, LLC. David began a career in investment banking at Goldman Sachs and founded Propmatch.com, a real estate portal, earlier in their profession. David's academic credentials include a BSc in Economics from The London School of Economics and a BBA in Finance and Economics from the University of Notre Dame.
