Joon Whan Rhee

Joon Whan Rhee serves as the Vice President of Clinical Development at BBOT, overseeing the Ras-PI3Kα breaker and pan-Ras inhibitor programs. Previous experience includes a role as Executive Director for Clinical Development Oncology at Gilead Sciences, leading the development strategy for gastrointestinal cancer assets, and as Executive Director at BeiGene, where strategic oversight for Pamiparib and Ociperlimab development was provided. Joon Whan Rhee held leadership positions at AstraZeneca, including Global Clinical Lead for Lynparza combinations, and various roles at Genentech, culminating in responsibilities for biosimilar strategy and combination drug development. Early career experience includes program management at Exelixis, managing multiple oncology development programs. Joon Whan Rhee earned a PhD in Immunology from Stanford University School of Medicine and a BA in Molecular & Cellular Biology from the University of California, Berkeley.
