Paige Nemec

Paige Nemec is an experienced professional in the field of gene therapy and biomedical sciences. Currently serving as the Associate Director of Preclinical Development at BridgeBio since May 2023, Paige previously held the position of Research Program Lead at Precision BioSciences from January 2019 to May 2023, where innovative gene-editing clinical interventions for Hepatitis B and other liver conditions were developed. Earlier experience includes roles at North Carolina State University, where Paige contributed to significant research projects in comparative medicine and served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant in microbiology labs. Additional experience includes research and development internships at The Lubrizol Corporation and undergraduate research at Lake Erie College. Paige earned a PhD in Comparative Biomedical Sciences from North Carolina State University and a B.S. in Chemistry from Lake Erie College.
