Sarah Welsh

Sarah Welsh is an accomplished scientist with extensive experience in discovery biology, currently serving as Lead Scientist at BridgeBio since October 2021. Prior to this role, Sarah held positions as a Scientist and a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at The Wistar Institute, contributing to research under the guidance of Alessandro Gardini, PhD. Sarah's academic background includes a PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biophysics from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Westminster College. Early research experiences were gained at Westminster College and Carnegie Mellon University, enhancing a strong foundation in the biological sciences.
