Kathy Flaherty

Kathy Flaherty has a diverse work experience in project management and IT roles. Kathy started their career at State Street Corporation, where they held various positions including Vice President of Client Technology Services, Vice President of Systems Consultant, Assistant Vice President of Client Technology Integration, and Investor Services. In these roles, they managed budgets, directed teams, and oversaw the implementation of complex solutions. Kathy joined Bridgewater State University in 2014 as a Staff Assistant, Project Manager and later became the Director of the IT Project Management Office. In this role, Kathy was responsible for integrating project management methodologies and overseeing major project initiatives at the university.

Kathy Flaherty holds a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree from Bridgewater State University (2015-2019) and an MBA in Finance from Bentley University (1996-1998). Kathy also obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Accounting and Finance from Bridgewater State University (1988-1991). Additionally, Kathy has several certifications, including IT Information Library Foundations Certification (ITIL) from AXELOS Global Best Practice (2015) and Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute (2012). Kathy has also completed certifications in Delivering Results with a Business-focused PMO, Managing Stress for Positive Change, and Ken Blanchard on Servant Leadership, all from LinkedIn (2020).
