Jon Magnuson

Jon Magnuson is an experienced engineering manager with a background in software and systems engineering. Currently serving as Engineering Manager at BrightAI since June 2022, Jon previously held similar managerial roles at SmartThings from May 2017 to June 2022, where Jon also progressed through senior engineering positions. Prior to SmartThings, Jon worked at Certusoft from March 2010 to May 2017, focusing on automotive telemetry and IoT systems for heavy-duty trucks. Jon's career began as an Electrical Engineering Intern at Loram, where Jon contributed to the design of electrical subsystems for railway maintenance equipment. Jon holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Minnesota, achieved in 2009.
