Deborah Harris

Deborah Harris possesses extensive experience in diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) leadership, currently serving as Director of DEI at Bright Horizons since June 2000. In this role, Deborah ensures progress on DEI initiatives, provides support to Employee Advisory Groups, and embeds DEI practices throughout the employee life cycle. As a former Regional Manager, Deborah offered strategic leadership across multiple states, co-chaired the African Heritage Employee Advisory Group, and played a vital role in the inaugural Diversity & Inclusion Council. As Co-Founder and Director of Business Management at Signature Experience, LLC, Deborah specializes in consultation and training focused on adult learning theory and engagement. Deborah's career began as Director/Principal at PaceSetters Academy, where Deborah was instrumental in the school's establishment and operational success. Educational qualifications include a BA in Special Education from the University of Florida and a Master's in Education Administration from the University of Houston.
