Karen Spencer

Karen Spencer is an accomplished professional in educational guidance and college advising, currently serving as the Director at Bright Horizons Education and College Advising and as a College Coach since November 2017. Prior to this role, Karen held various leadership positions at College Coach from June 2005 to November 2017, including Director of Client Relations and Director of Educational Guidance for the DC Metro Area. Earlier experience includes serving as the Assistant Director of Admission at both Georgetown University (August 2002 - June 2005) and Franklin & Marshall College (August 2000 - July 2002), along with a role as Residence Life Coordinator at Hope College (August 1999 - June 2000). Karen holds a Master of Education in Counseling and Higher Educational Administration from the University of Virginia and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Valparaiso University.
