Stacey Mwongozi has a diverse work experience in the education and childcare field. Stacey began their career in 2006 as an Education Site Director at CAP Tulsa, where they oversaw the management of early childhood programs and ensured compliance with licensing and accreditation guidelines. Stacey then moved on to work at Community Care College as the Early Childhood Education Department Head, where they developed curriculum, advised students, and supervised interns. In 2009, Stacey joined the Community Service Council as the Linkages Program Manager, where they coordinated community resources and partnerships to support families and facilitate smooth transitions for children. Stacey then worked at Bright Horizons as a Director, responsible for managing a licensed early childhood program and adhering to quality standards. Stacey eventually progressed to the position of Regional Manager at Bright Horizons, providing leadership and guidance to achieve company goals. Currently, they serve as the Vice President of Operations at Bright Horizons, leading the success of the company's geographical region.

Stacey Mwongozi holds a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Child and Family Studies from Park University in 2000.
