Olivier Bornert

Olivier Bornert has worked in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industry since 2009. olivier began their career as an Internship Student at CNRS - UMR 7242 in 2009, followed by a Research Scientist and Ph.D. Candidate position at Bioxtal in the same year. In 2014, they became a Project Leader at Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg im Breisgau, and in 2020 they took on a Principal Scientist and Team Leader role at Ichnos Sciences, where they led a team of two scientists in charge of large scale expression and purification of bi- and tri-specific antibodies. olivier also led the implementation of a new automated pipeline for purification of antibodies using AKTA-based and magnetic beads purification. In 2022, they moved to Bright Peak Therapeutics as a Senior Scientist and DOMAIN Therapeutics as a Project Leader.

Olivier Bornert began their educational journey in 2003, when they received a Bachelor's degree in cellular biology and physiology from Universit\u00e9 de Strasbourg. olivier continued their studies at the same university, receiving a Master's degree in Biotechnology and therapeutic innovation in 2008. Finally, in 2009, Olivier Bornert earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Molecular and cellular biology from the same university.
