Allen Funk

Allen Funk has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Allen started their career in 1986 at The Washington Post, where they held various roles including Account Executive, Director of Advertising Administration, and Assistant Controller Budgets/Financial Planning. Allen then served as President and Publisher of Daily Herald (Everett), overseeing daily newspaper publishing and leading a successful financial turnaround. Allen later worked as a Financial Advisor and Acting Chief Financial Officer at Fidelus Technologies, where they helped negotiate an increase in the line of credit and secured additional growth capital. Allen also served as Chief Operating Officer at Sol Wind LLC, providing senior level management and operations support for a renewable energy asset investment company. Allen's most recent position was as Chief Financial Officer/Chief Operating Officer at Blue Planet Funding LLC, where they provided asset evaluation and financial modeling for a renewable energy industry start-up. Allen also provided financial advice and management support as Chief Financial Officer at Bright Power Inc., a tech-oriented energy management company. Throughout their career, Allen has demonstrated expertise in financial management, team leadership, and strategic planning.

Allen Funk earned a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Economics from Stanford University between 1978 and 1982. Following this, they pursued further education at Harvard Business School, where they obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Finance, Strategy, and Entrepreneurship from 1984 to 1986.
