Leeann Yu

Leeann Yu has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and industries. Leeann started their career as a Financial Advisor at Ameriprise Financial from 2004 to 2006. Leeann then transitioned to the education sector, working as an Immersion Teacher at American Eagle School from 2006 to 2007. In 2010, they served as an Education Pioneers Fellow at Partnerships to Uplift Communities. Leeann's extensive experience in the education industry includes roles such as School Operations Manager, Director of School Operations, and Vice President of Operations & Compliance at Bright Star Schools from 2011 to 2017. Most recently, they held the position of Chief Operations Officer at Bright Star Schools, where they were responsible for overseeing four key departments.

Leeann Yu earned their Bachelor of Arts degree in International Development Studies from UCLA between 2000 and 2004. Leeann later pursued their MBA at the University of Minnesota - Carlson School of Management, specializing in Strategy, Entrepreneurship, and Marketing, from 2008 to 2010.
