Oscar Moreno

Oscar Moreno is an experienced educator currently serving as an AP Human Geography and Psychology Teacher at Bright Star Schools since July 2016. In addition to this role, Oscar has been a volunteer at Lynwood High School since January 2012, where workshops are presented on college applications and studying abroad. Previous teaching positions include AP European and Honors World History Teacher at Huntington Park High School from June 2014 to June 2016, where emphasis was placed on integrating online learning through Schoology, and Social Studies and AVID Teacher at Manual Arts High School from October 2012 to June 2014, focusing on social efficacy. Oscar holds a Master of Arts in Social Studies Secondary Education from New York University and a Bachelor of Arts in American Studies from Williams College.
